New and innovative products are researched thoroughly and tested under strenuous conditions before launching into the market place. Working with the latest in computer aided design equipment, our Research and Development personnel can design, quote and submit detailed drawings for customer approval, which are used for actual manufacturing whenthe job proceeds.
Product positioning, branding and design are also researched with potential clients. We continually research and develop our processes and procedures. New types of raw materials are trialled and assessed. Our manufacturing and processing practices are regularly reviewed with the objective of achieving better products at competitive prices.
The purpose of our investment in Research and Development is to develop and test products and process improvements to meet customer needs.
Research and Development liaise closely with our on-site Engineers who take enormous pride in building quality jigs and tooling which have a “high use rating” to ensure consistency of product every time. The Production Team are highly focused on meeting the customer’s needs by way of manufacturing a quality product, built on time.
Regular QA inspections are carried out by both the QA Department and by each operator on the shop floor. Inspections take place at every stage of the production process and are recorded. We set standards far exceeding our customers’ expectations. Our modern plant consists of CNC wire cutting and straightening equipment, CNC controlled wire bending, robotic mig welding and even an in-house polyethylene coating plant. Annually we consume well over 1000 tonnes of wire and tube. |
